The EasyFloat Pontoon System was developed in 2001 by the Blowtech company in Sweden. Blowtech specializes in the manufacture of injection moulding with plastics. The idea of manufacturing a pontoon made out of polystyrene and aluminum which would be light weight and have a very high floatation value was born. This invention also made EasyFloat pontoons virtually maintenance free with a long life span. Since that time EasyFloat pontoon dock systems are now popular throughout Sweden and the international market.

EasyFloat pontoon docks are remarkably different from other standard dock systems which is the reason for their rapid popularity and growth. EasyFloat is a patented pontoon dock system manufactured by Float-Tech Sweden AB, a subsidiary of Blowtech AB.
